WyoGives 2025: A Day That Reminded Us Why We Do This Work

July 10 was a powerful day at the Iris Clubhouse. As part of the statewide WyoGives event, we joined hundreds of nonprofits across Wyoming in a collective call for support. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised over 5,990 in just 24 hours just from doantions. This support helps us keep our doors open and our programs running, but the true value of WyoGives goes far deeper than the dollars raised.

More than the $5,990 We also received a match from the Hughes Charitable Incentive Fund. This caused our final total to be $7,703.00.

Throughout the day, Clubhouse members and staff worked together to make the event something special. From decorating the space and creating heartfelt social media posts, to calling friends and family and sharing stories about their time at the Clubhouse, everyone played a part. There was laughter, excitement, a few happy tears, and an overwhelming sense of purpose.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was seeing how many people outside the Clubhouse walls stopped to listen. Whether they gave five dollars or simply asked a question about who we are and what we do, those moments of connection matter just as much. They help build awareness about mental health and remind us that we are not alone in this work.

The money raised during WyoGives goes straight into the hands-on work of the Clubhouse. That includes helping members find jobs and go back to school, cooking and sharing meals together, planning community events, and making sure everyone who walks through our doors feels like they belong. Every contribution helps us continue this mission.
